STEP 1 — DOWNLOAD
Download the Extension
SmarterBook v3.6.7 · Chrome Extension · Unpacked Build
Downloads as a .zip file — do NOT install the zip directly. Unzip it first (Step 2).

Unzip the File
Find smarterbook.zip in your Downloads folder.

Windows: Right-click → Extract All → Extract.
Mac: Double-click the zip — extracts automatically.

Move the unzipped folder somewhere permanent like your Desktop. Chrome needs it to stay there.

Load into Chrome
1. Open Chrome → new tab → go to chrome://extensions

2. Toggle Developer Mode ON (top-right corner).

3. Click Load unpacked (top-left).

4. Select the unzipped SmarterBook folder — not the zip, the folder inside.

5. SmarterBook icon appears in toolbar. Click 🧩 and pin it.

Enter Your Key & Activate
1. Click the SmarterBook icon in your toolbar.

2. Paste your license key from your purchase email.

3. Press ACTIVATE SYSTEM — unlocks instantly, no restart needed.

4. Go to learning.mheducation.com, open a SmartBook module, press the power button. Done.
