Wiley Solver for WileyPLUS and Alta Questions
Wiley courses are heavy on accounting worksheets, chemistry structures and multi-part quantitative problems, and a lot of that is rendered in ways that resist copy and paste. The SmarterBook Wiley solver handles it either through the native Alta panel or by cropping the question directly.
Crop anything, solve anything
Ctrl+Shift+Z is the universal path and it works on every Wiley page. Drag a box around the problem and a vision model reads the image itself, which means an embedded PDF, a rendered equation, a journal entry table or a Lewis structure are all fair game. Nothing depends on the page exposing clean text.
Alta questions in the panel
On Knewton Alta the Wiley solver runs natively. Press Solve and the answer is filled into the actual input: radios, checkbox groups, dropdown selects, or the math keypad for numeric blanks. You check it and submit yourself.

Accounting is where this pays off
Wiley accounting titles are the classic use case: a trial balance in a table, an adjusting entry with several lines, and no way to select the text. Crop it and the whole table is read at once, including the numbers, rather than being retyped by hand into something else.
Reasoning included
The panel shows the answer with short reasoning, and solved questions are saved and exportable to CSV. For a subject where the method transfers directly to the exam, having the working next to the answer is most of the value.
Cropping tables well
For an accounting question, put the whole table inside the crop including the column headings and the row labels. Half a trial balance produces a confidently wrong answer, because the model can only work with the structure you actually gave it. The extra second spent on the selection is the difference.
Support and coverage
Discord support is usually answered within the hour. WileyPLUS has no dedicated content script, so if you want native automation there rather than Snap AI, that request is worth making in Discord where platform priorities get set.
Wiley content resists extraction more than most, which makes the crop-and-read approach the right one. A Wiley solver that reads the page as an image handles the accounting tables and chemistry figures that break text-based tools entirely.
