Select all is where partial credit dies
Alta select-all questions are all or nothing, and picking three of four correct options scores the same as picking none. The Knewton Alta solver returns the complete set and only changes the boxes that need changing, leaving your existing correct selections alone before anything is submitted.

After you submit, Alta reveals its own worked explanation. That is the most useful thing on the page and most people close it immediately. Read it against the answer you just submitted, because it is the same reasoning your exam will expect and it is free.
Graphs, tables and expressions
Statistics questions built on tables and algebra questions built on rendered expressions do not extract cleanly as text. Ctrl+Shift+Z crops the region and Snap AI reads the image itself, which covers the question types Alta renders through Learnosity.
Why dropdowns need text matching
Alta shuffles the options inside each dropdown blank independently, so the third option in your version is not the third option in anyone else version. The solver compares answer text against the actual option text with exact, contains and fuzzy passes, then sets the select and fires the change event Alta listens for. Position is never used, because position means nothing here.
