Canvas Bot for Quizzes and Assignment Busywork
Canvas is not one product, it is whatever your school configured. Classic Quizzes in one course, New Quizzes in another, quizzes embedded in modules, ungraded practice attached to reading. The SmarterBook Canvas bot works across those layouts because it reads the question in front of it rather than expecting one fixed page shape.
Question types it handles on its own
Press Solve All and the bot works down the quiz, answering and advancing. Formats it fills directly cover most of what Canvas quizzes are built from, and anything unusual is surfaced in the panel with an answer for you to place yourself.

Canvas quiz logs record timing per question and per attempt, so tempo is not cosmetic. The Canvas bot spends time proportional to question length, moves the cursor along curved paths, hesitates before committing on longer items, and takes hand-off breaks on long attempts. The speed slider sets the overall pace from deliberate to fast.
Practice quizzes are the safe ground
Ungraded practice quizzes, reading checks, and unlimited-attempt assignments are the work worth automating, and that is where a Canvas bot pays for itself. Proctored exams and locked-browser attempts are not that, and SmarterBook detects proctoring software and refuses to mount its panel rather than putting you in a position you cannot explain.
Getting it running
Install the extension, activate your key, open a quiz, and pick Canvas from the platform list. The panel appears docked on the page with Solve, Solve All, speed, and a status line. It works inside your own session, so there is nothing to configure in Canvas and nothing your instructor can see on their end.
Attempts, lockdowns and timers
Canvas quizzes can be configured with one attempt, a hard time limit, question locking after answering, or a required lockdown browser. Check which of those applies before running anything, because a single-attempt timed quiz is not the place to test a new tool.
Page Monitor Alerts on Pro and above warn you when the page changes unexpectedly, which usually means the quiz submitted, timed out or navigated away mid-run.
Most Canvas work is participation rather than assessment: reading checks, practice attempts, low-stakes quizzes that exist to keep you on schedule. A Canvas bot handles that tier of work so your actual study time goes to the exam that decides the grade.
